You don’t have to be in an exotic or tranquil location to experience a writing retreat during the lockdown or at any other time. You just need to take a little time for yourself, find a spot to write, surround yourself with notebooks, pens and refreshments then start.

Talent is extremely common. What is rare is the willingness to endure the life of the writer.

At times you think you may know what your readers want. But you never know for sure. It’s safer to go with your heart and write what you want.

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
